As a Delegate at the 65th session of the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women (CSW65), Sarah contributed to pivotal dialogues focused on achieving gender equality and empowering women and girls.

The Fulbright Specialist Program, part of the larger Fulbright Program, was established in 2001 by the U.S. Department of State, Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA). The program pairs highly qualified U.S. academics and professionals with host institutions abroad to share their expertise, strengthen institutional linkages, while building capacity at their overseas host institutions. Sarah’s appointment to the U.S. Department of State's Fulbright Specialist Roster positioned her to contribute to academic and nonprofit initiatives.
